Cant remember the name of this movie!?

I have no idea who is in it but i remember that in the beginning there is a huge snowstorm and this lady's car breaks down outside of someones house in the country. So she knocks on the door and this family takes her in for the next few days. I remember that its very near Christmas and I think the family is Italian or Greek but I think its set somewhere near New York. She ends up falling in love with one of the sons that lives at this house. and I think the brother is a little crazy.
