My baby bunny doesn't sleep!?

Now that it is summer (my bunny, Bluey, sleeps in a room with no doors) I can creep on my bunny whenever I have a break from doing hw. But everysingle time I slowly poke my head in, my bunny is not asleep. He almost knocked his cage over this morning, and at night he is wicked hyper. It seems like he never sleeps! My mom says that she sleeps really late (2-3am) and my bunny is still wide awake. However, the energy in the morning and dusk is a lot! Does my bunny sleep? When should I poke my head in to see him sleep? Thanks so much!
